Academic advising in the Reynolds College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities is a collaboration between professional staff advisors and faculty advisors.
Advisors are paired with students based on declared major and are available to assist students with:
- Choosing the degree program components (majors, minors, undergraduate certificates) that make up their academic journey
- Planning semester course schedules for efficient and meaningful degree completion
- Navigating university programs, systems, and processes for student success
- Connecting with campus resources to enhance their college experience and personal well-being
- Preparing to take their next steps into a career or into graduate study
Students can find their advisor’s name on Advising Notes from the My Student Records card at My.MissouriState.edu.
First-time transfer students should first connect with the Transfer Advisor in their major. Find your major's Transfer Advisor on our Advisors for Transfer Students website. You can filter the list by choosing "Reynolds College of Arts, Social Sciences & Humanities" in the College drop-down menu or search for your specific major.
