Welcome
The Digital Humanities Lab (DHL) at Meyer Library—a partnership between the Reynolds College of Arts, Social Sciences,
and Humanities and the Missouri State University Libraries—leverages resources and
expertise to support faculty and students in the Humanities and other disciplines.
The DHL facilitates digital research projects that integrate humanistic inquiry with
new methodologies and technologies, generating compelling and accessible insights
while enhancing the visibility of the Humanities at Missouri State.
Vision
The vision for the DHL is to:
- Support faculty in conducting and sharing digital Humanities research;
- Provide spaces for teaching, learning, and project development in the digital Humanities;
- Inspire innovative approaches to teaching and researching Humanities disciplines;
- Foster collaboration with community partners on local Humanities-related projects;
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration across Humanities disciplines and the broader
digital scholarship community.
2025-26
Call for Proposals
The Digital Humanities Lab is pleased to announce the first call for proposals for
projects to be funded during the 2025-26 fiscal year. We are excited to offer financial
and tech support for innovative research projects that will be showcased online and
during annual events hosted by the lab.
